This past Friday (the 10th) was B and I's 10-year wedding anniversary. We celebrated by spending the weekend in Kansas City. A big thanks goes to my mom for spending the weekend with Alia. :)
We drove over to KC Friday after B was done working. We stayed at a Fairfield Inn downtown on Main Street.
Friday night we went to The Crown Center. We found some dinner and browsed through some of the stores.
Saturday was a busy, busy day. We went to the City Market (Farmer's Market) for breakfast.

We bought some basil garlic pasta and a strawberry pie as well. Loved it. Wish ours was that big. Then we went to The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. (Let me edit here - We saw lots of cool/good art, but B suggested I not take pictures. We saw a Pollock, a Lichtenstein, some Monet, and more that I can't remember right now.)
We ate lunch at Gate's BBQ.

Next we went to The Plaza and browsed and walked around. Finally, we went back to the hotel and rested, napped, and looked for a place for dinner. I found a BBQ place called Oklahoma Joe's. Extremely good and famous. It's in a gas station.
We waited in line for like an hour, but the line was moving, and it was worth it.

After dinner, we decided to go to Trader Joe's and then I bought some things at Old Navy. When we went back to the hotel, we ate our pie from the market. :)
Sunday morning, we got up, checked out, and met some friends of B's for breakfast. Then it was off to home! Was glad to see Alia! We had a great time and are looking forward to many more decades!
