So, I saw Eclipse Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. Some friends and I from school all went to one of the midnight showings. (I think I'm a little crazy). Before-hand, I reread the series and then watched both the previous movies in preparation. I'm glad I did. Reading the books gave me all the info to fill in what holes there were, and watching the movies caught me up on the subtle changes.
I felt the movie was similar to the recent Harry Potter movies. Lots of go, go, go without as much background. I think that if you hadn't read the books, that you would miss some things. I did miss the scene where Jacob rolls over on top of Bella and Edward throws him off of her, but other than that, most of the things I wanted to see where in the movie. Overall, and the further I get away from the experience, the more I like it. I think the acting was better, and I ask myself many times if that was actually Kristen Stewart. :) Only thing I didn't like was all the close-ups. That was a little weird. Oh well! Can't wait for Breaking Dawn!
