12 Things to Cook in the New Year

As January is coming to an end, I realized I hadn't yet made anything off of my resolution list. I thought I was going to make a pie, but then changed my mind. I would make brownies, from scratch. We have small group tomorrow, so I would just make them for dessert. Now, some would say, Rachel, you can't eat brownies! Don't they have dairy in them? Well, I made dairy-free and gluten-free brownies. (Thanks to Mary Beth for the flour and xantham gum.) Alia poured all the dry ingredients into the bowl and then stirred them up.

Finished product and close-up of finished product. I haven't tried them yet, except for the part that stuck to the knife when I cut them. However, I have no qualms that they will be yummy!

Did I miss something? Are you doing dairy-free and/or a glutten-free diet now?
