Even though she is going through a phase right now. Even though she is trying our patience every night at dinner time. Even though she is enamored with her daddy right now, this little girl makes me happy. I can't wait to plan stuff to do with her. I love taking her places. I love going for a walk around the block. I love starting traditions like Friday night movies.
A friend from work was wondering how crazy it was that you go from not a mom to mom in a less than a day. We (the moms in the room) tried to explain that it wasn't a big deal, because you become a mom so much earlier than birth. I have loved Alia since before she was born! She's my joy.
