School started Thursday and it was hot! Thursday night we had family pictures taken at Shelter Gardens. Becky has some previews up on Facebook. I think they look really good! On Friday we had a half day of school because of the heat. Friday night, B and I went to the comedy club with some friends. There was also this huge storm for most of Friday night. The storm blew out our DVR (they are sending us a new one), our modem (which is now fixed), our garage door opener (will probably have to buy a new one), and our air conditioning. The guy should be here any moment to look at the air. I'm hoping it won't cost us an arm and a leg. :( We bought some paint yesterday so we can paint Alia's bed. I'm hoping we can have it assembled and moved in by her birthday. I actually start teaching this week. I hope my students are ready to learn!
