So Friday night, B and I checked into the Hilton Garden Inn here in Columbia. Our room had a nice tv and a whirlpool tub. We went to Gerbes and picked up some food for a picnic which we took to Shelter Gardens. After we ate, we walked around the gardens until they basically closed. B took lots of pictures. After that we swung by the house to pick up our DVD player so we could watch the movies we rented. When we reserved the room we signed up for "free" breakfast. So Saturday morning, when B finally stirred (I was up way before he was), we went down to the hotel restaurant and had their breakfast buffet. Then we came on home. Last night we went to C.C.'s City Broiler for dinner. It had to have been the most expensive meal we've ever eaten. It was good though. We had scallops wrapped in bacon for an appetizer. I had the pork chop (the biggest one I've ever seen) and B had a rib eye. For dessert, I had the Dreamsicle Cheesecake and B had Carrot Cake. Happy anniversary to us!
