Well, my bday has been kinda low-key this year. However, here are the many plusses so far...and I know there are more to come.
#1 - Michelle and Jules sent me birthday balloons at school
#2 - Jules wrote a note to my students on my whiteboard so they'd all wish me a happy birthday
#3 - Monkey card from Amy
#4 - Birthday money from B's grandparents
#5 - Michelle paid for my new earring so I could get pierced at the same time that she did
#6 - I bought two new pairs of shoes with my birthday $$...one black and one brown
#7 - Melissa sent me the bag* along with comfy socks, a soft soft robe, smelly lotion, and a candle

*The bag is a gaudy awful looking birthday bag that I think she gave me a present in once in high school, and then I gave it back to her with a present on her birthday...and we kept on giving it back and forth. I haven't talked to Melissa in years, and am sad about that. I got in touch with her for my dad's memorial service though and it's just like old times. May the bag tradition continue.

Things to look forward to: whatever B gets me(we don't really have any money right now), we will go out to dinner sometime, April's present, more birthday $$ from B's parents, and Bethany said she'd take me out to eat.
