What a busy/non-busy weekend! Thursday night, our friends Alex and Nichole came into town. They had wanted to come for the True/False Film Festival, but weren't able to get passes. So, it turned into a weekend of hanging out. We met them at Flat Branch Thursday night as they rolled into town. Then we had dessert at Sparky's. On Friday, B hung out with them as I went to work. Friday night, we ate at Shakespeare's and then just hung out at the house. On Saturday was the MU/KU game. Alex really wanted to watch it. We ended up watching the game at Booche's (yummy yummy burgers). I then took Alia home for a nap and napped myself. Saturday night B and I were lazy and just ordered in dinner. Alex and Nichole had gone out. They brought home a movie for us all to watch, and B made a skillet cookie for dessert. This morning was church and Rio Grande for lunch. Then, sadly, our friends left. It was great seeing them, and they said they might come back later this year (with their kids in tow too!) Back to being normal!
