Busy Weekend! Yesterday morning Alia and I woke up and went into town. We went to West's PTSA garage sale and the Farmer's Market with Michelle and Becca. I bought Alia a Bubbles doll, an Eric Carle book, and a bucket at the garage sale. At the market I bought some pork, eggs, and Monkey Jelly (vanilla pepsi flavored jelly). After that we went to Wal-Mart and Hy-Vee for groceries. Last night, we were invited to a BBQ at Andy and Erica's. Andy made bacon explosion: bits of bacon and BBQ sauce rolled in a slab of italian sausage rolled in a weave of bacon. I made roasted white and sweet potatoes. I tried to do some work this afternoon, but Alia pretty much refused to nap so that is on hold until tonight. Alia and I might go watch Michelle and Eric play softball tonight.
