(Interesting) Things Around my House
Part III: The Guest Room

These are fans obviously. The guest room is pretty much fool of all my memorabilia. A lot of the stuff is from my grandparents that are no longer with us. These fans belonged to my grandma (my dad's mom).

My small Precious Moments collection. The first picture has my cake topper from our wedding and then 2 religious figurines. One of my favorites is the soldier. The bottom picture has my more practical figurines. There's one from my cousin of 2 girls (1 blonde, 1 brunette), one from my mom when I was sick, and one with a music note. There's a tiny one at the bottom of a girl taking a bubble bath. I got her from my Nana.

This is one of my pieces of carnival glass. My grandma (again, my dad's mom) had a lot. My mom made sure each of us kids had a piece when my grandpa moved out of his house. My sister has started collecting carnival glass, but I'm good with what I have. (Notice the angel playing the flute in the background).

Compared to my mom and Michelle, this is my very meager and humble shot glass collection. From left to right: a "candle holder" from the Space Needle, one from Baylor (these two were presents from Dawn), a pretty blue one from my grandma (my mom's mom), one from Cedar Point (The Millennium), one from The Parthenon in Nashville, one from Disney Quest complete with a blue golf ball from getting a hole-in-one in Champaign (Disney Quest was a 3D Disney experience they had in Chicago for awhile), one from the Rock-n-Roll McDonald's in Chicago, and one from The Hard Rock Cafe in Chicago complete with a really long matchstick that my friend Andy drew or wrote something on.
