I had a good three day weekend. Bride Wars was cute and unfortunately predictable and that's about it. It won't be a keeper. Saturday night we all went to Michelle's to play Rock Band. A good time was had as usual. Before Bethany and I watched Repo! Sunday night we went to Hot Box Cookies for dessert. The cookies were yummy and baked perfectly. I will have to go back. Repo! was very interesting. I'm still trying to decide if it's something I want to own. It didn't disappoint me at all. I'm mulling over the music. There was a lot that I did like, but some that is questionable. I think the writers (of the music) did a good job of letting the characters speak through the songs. When the main character was a whiny teenager, she sang a whiny song. When she was a rebellious teenager, she was all rocked out. The "dumb" characters were given comical songs. I really liked the narrarator's part. Definitely a cult flick that's not for everybody. We were talking to someone that saw it the previous night and just did not get it at all. She suggested that we should get wasted and then watch it. A big thanks to Bethany for being a trooper!
