We had to put Occhi down this morning. He woke us up(before the sun had even come up) howling and in pain. Eventually, he wasn't able to use his back legs. B called the animal hospital, and we took him to the ER. The doctor thought he had a blood clot and then told us that there was a low chance of recovery and that even if he did get better it could happen again. B and I discussed our options and decided it was time. He was a good and loving cat and our first pet together. He will be missed.
