It is hot! It is hot! It is hot! (sung to whatever tune will fit). I had a student today ask me if we had any homework. I told her no, and she was happy. Then she went on to say that she had 2 honors classes and that us teachers just don't understand. While I feel her pain, HA! I understand her frustration, but thinking that we haven't ever been there...that's kinda funny. Do all our students think we all were just mediocre students who coasted through school? This is one of those situations where we the adults have in fact been there, and we survived, so we know our students will survive, so we give them homework. Mua-ha-ha.
